Plano Event Center is an 84,600 square foot event venue and exhibition hall located at 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, Texas. The facility was built in 1990 and is owned and operated by the City of Plano. As part of an extensive multi-million dollar renovation effort, the facility is upgrading their courtyard space to better accommodate a wide range of events.
WGI is working with SWA Group to reimagine the space. We provided grading and drainage design for the upgraded facilities, as well as coordination with existing utilities. The updated courtyard will feature additional shade and trellis structures, seating, updated landscaping, a new underdrain system, and a fire pit.
