Reconstruction of Jupiter Tandem Truck Lot

This project involved the preparation of plans and specifications for the reconstruction of an existing tandem truck lot located next to the Jupiter Toll Plaza of Florida’s Turnpike at Milepost 116. The improvements included the application of an appropriate stabilization, base, and asphalt pavement to handle the weight of the tandem truck trailers. Concrete strips were also provided to set the dropped trailer upon during staging operations. Additionally, parking lot lighting was upgraded to current standards, and pavement striping was provided to maximize trailer parking capacity.
