This heavily trafficked historic corridor through downtown Tallahassee serves many government entities and businesses, and careful consideration and attention to detail throughout the life of the project. The effort began with a full topographic and tree survey of features within the right-of-way and significant features pertaining to utilities within the corridor to support later design efforts (also provided by WGI). Plans were prepared for new sewer and water infrastructure, road resurfacing, and sidewalk improvements. Our efforts included the necessary maintenance of traffic plans, geotechnical support, and subsurface utility investigations (SUE), which allowed for the complete infrastructure design that met rigorous standards and time constraints.
