Landmark Properties’ The Standard at Fort Collins is a private, off-campus apartment community catering to Colorado State University students. It offers resort-style amenities, including a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center, game room, lounge, computer lab, and private structured parking. Located at 775 W. Lake Street directly across Colorado State University’s football stadium, the residential complex is adjacent to the campus shuttle route and only a four-block walk from the Lory Student Center.
The five-level precast concrete parking structure provides 574 parking spaces for tenants, guests, and staff. Along the north wall, the garage abuts the five-level wood-framed residential structure. The swimming pool, cabana, and associated amenity space is located above the parking garage. This project was delivered design-build, with WGI working directly for the precast concrete producer. WGI served as a structural engineer for the parking structure of lateral systems and floors. WGI also completed a peer review of the durability systems for the parking facility.
