WGI was responsible for the design and preparation of roadway and drainage, traffic control, signing and pavement marking and ITS plans required for the ramp bridge replacement at the PGA Boulevard Interchange with Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) located at MP 109.5. The new bridge, completed in the fall of 2013, spans the future eight-lane section of the Florida’s Turnpike and existing gas lines located to the east side of the northbound lanes. In addition, the interchange required significant improvement and much of the northbound exit and entrance ramps were realigned to accommodate the new bridge location. WGI was also responsible for upgrades to the existing stormwater management facilities, survey, right-of-way mapping, subsurface utility engineering and permitting the project through the South Florida Water Management District, US Army Corps of Engineers, and Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District.
