WGI was responsible for the preparation of milling, full depth pavement restoration, resurfacing, and signing and marking plans for Vista Parkway, a four-lane divided roadway located in West Palm Beach, Florida. This two-mile roadway had sections of deteriorating and failing pavement in numerous areas. The design took into account asphalt/curb interfaces, design and structural analysis of the pavement profile, and connections to existing driveways and adjacent roadways.

Flumes were added at the low points of the road way to prevent future problems of standing water along the roadway interface with the grassed swales and to decrease maintenance costs. Median opening modifications were included to enhance public safety and aid in the traffic traveling through a hazardous divided median.

Other services included construction administration, preparation of field reports and pay applications, and coordination with the client, contractor and the geotechnical testing firm. The project was completed on time and within budget.
