Two of WGI’s Marketing Team's proudest 2025 campaigns had almost nothing in common. One put Bigfoot in a cubicle to kick off a week of appreciation for our own associates. The other turned our annual parking cost study into a summer-long campaign for the people who budget parking structures. On October 1, Zweig Group honored both with 2026 Marketing Excellence Awards.
WGI took home awards in the Event category for Camp YES Week and in the Publication category for the 2025 Parking Structure Cost Outlook. Members of our Marketing Team accepted both on stage at the black-tie ElevateAEC Awards Gala in Park City, Utah.
What It Takes to Win a Marketing Excellence Award
Zweig Group, the consulting, research, and training firm serving the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, presents the Marketing Excellence Awards each year to recognize the most effective marketing in the field. An entry can’t win on looks alone. An external panel of senior AEC marketing professionals scores each entry on creativity, messaging, design, and the results the campaign produced.
Entries were due in early June, and winners were notified in July, with the awards presented this fall at ElevateAEC, Zweig Group’s annual conference and gala.
Event Category: Welcome to Camp YES Week
YES Week, short for Years of Exceptional Service, is the week each year when WGI stops to thank its associates, and our Marketing Team gives it a new theme every time. In 2025, we packed up the office and went camping. Camp YES Week ran May 12 through 16 with its own logo, its own merch, and a Bigfoot mascot who managed to turn up in more office photos than most of our associates.
He made his debut before the week even started. Our teaser video, “A Big Announcement,” followed Bigfoot through a WGI office as he sat in on a meeting, settled into a cubicle, and pulled a YES Week flyer off the printer. From there, the GreenRoom, WGI’s internal intranet, became the camp bulletin board, with a schedule and custom graphic for every event of the week.
Monday kicked off with a coloring wall and a game of Capture the Flag, where every flag was a small wooden tent built in-house. It also launched an office decorating contest that ran through the week. Tuesday brought two rounds of trivia, a word scramble, and an office scavenger hunt, and Wednesday was, naturally, Wordle Wednesday, along with a nature scavenger hunt and bingo over Zoom. On Thursday, associates wore their Camp YES shirts to food truck and office lunches, and our CEO and President closed the day with a company-wide town hall.
By Friday, the decorating contest had produced tents, inflatable rafts, and more paper campfires than we could count. Chicago and San Antonio tied for first, and West Palm Beach’s “Camp Crystal Lake” earned honorable mention.
The heart of the week remains the milestone it's named for. Associates celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years with WGI received their service awards in their home offices. They chose a gift from a Camp YES catalog, ranging from camping hammocks and backpack coolers to pickleball sets and an electric s’mores maker. The rest of the company wasn’t left out. Every associate received a WGI camp mug packed as a s’mores kit and tagged “We need s’more people like you.”

Publication Category: The 2025 Parking Structure Cost Outlook
Our second award went to work built for audiences outside our walls. Every year, WGI’s Parking Structure Cost Outlook answers the first question on almost every parking project, which is what it will cost to build. The 2025 edition drew on our database of hundreds of completed parking structures, normalized with the Engineering News-Record Building Cost Index and RSMeans location factors. It put the national median at $31,400 per space, or $93.85 per square foot, up 5% from 2024, and broke that median out city by city for 35 U.S. markets.
Industry professionals had already downloaded the report thousands of times over the previous five years, so the campaign’s job was to put the new edition in front of more of the developers, owners, and design teams who rely on it. It launched in June with an eblast to our parking audience and a LinkedIn lead generation form, and readers who downloaded the whitepaper moved into email drip sequences that followed up on the findings. A download banner ran in WGI email signatures all summer, and release posts carried the report across LinkedIn, Facebook, and the GreenRoom.
In July, WGI’s Parking Solutions team walked through the numbers in a live webinar that drew more than 150 registrants and 100 attendees. The full recording lives on in our webinar recap.
The 2026 Parking Structure Cost Outlook Is Here
This year’s national median comes in at $33,300 per space, or $98.75 per square foot, a 6% increase over 2025, with city-by-city benchmarks for 35 markets.

Our Week in Park City
ElevateAEC brought leaders from AEC firms across the country to the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley for three days of keynotes, breakout sessions, and conversations about where the industry is headed.
The week wrapped up Thursday night with a red-carpet reception and a black-tie gala, where the Marketing Excellence Awards were presented alongside Zweig Group’s other annual honors. Our team carried the awards home from Park City, but plenty of people earned them.
Camp YES Week came to life because associates in every participating office decorated, competed, and filled the GreenRoom with photos all week. The Cost Outlook exists because our Parking Solutions team rebuilds its dataset every year, and our marketing and creative services teams brought both campaigns together.
