The Landing of Lake Worth

WGI was contracted by Lenity Architecture to provide Surveying, Site Planning, Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Landscape Architecture, and Environmental services for the development of approximately 6.81 acres located on the east side of State Road 7 (US-441), just north of Lantana Road, in unincorporated Palm Beach County. The property had a Future Land Use designation of LR-2 (Low Residential – maximum 2 du/ac) and a Zoning District of AR (Agricultural Residential) and had no prior development approvals.

The development consisted of a 130-bed Congregate Living Facility (CLF), requiring the processing of a Small Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the existing land use designation from LR-2 to the HR-8 (High Residential – maximum 8 du/ac) designation and a Rezoning from the AR Zoning District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zoning District, to achieve the desired density.

Additionally, a final Development Review Order application was required for Site Plan approval to allow the Type 3 CLF on the site. Engineering services included preliminary and final design, permitting and construction administration. The Landing of Lake Worth offers independent, assisted living, and memory care. This state-of-the-art facility meets the unique needs of our seniors, allowing them to age in place. Amenities include a restaurant/bistro, wellness center, gym, hair salon, theater, and activity center.
