Xavier University Mobility and Parking Study

Project analyzed the existing and future parking/supply demand balance, permit parking rates, parking enforcement, game day parking management, signage, and the need for and methods to finance parking to support economic development around campus. The mobility study determined both policy and infrastructure improvements to promote alternative modes of transportation and help create a cultural shift on campus that supported a multimodal lifestyle. As part of the study parking counts, online surveys, review of 11 peer universities, site visits, and stakeholder meetings were conducted. A presentation and report with a phased implementation strategy was provided to Xavier that outlined improvements over a 10-year period.
