WGI was tasked with designing the structural components of the Arden Boardwalk, constructed as part of the Arden Development Improvement Plan. WGI’s Structural Solutions Division created a new eight-foot wide by 175-foot long wood boardwalk supported on wood piling. The boardwalk leads to a 24-foot by 24-foot platform designed to support a wood pavilion and allows residents to enjoy the lake inside of the community.

Services provided during the construction phase included a review of shop drawings, monitoring pile installation, and observing that construction matched the permit drawings.
