In 2016, Hunt Management selected WGI to perform a condition assessment and generate a 5-year maintenance/repair recommendation for Diamond Tower underground parking garage and plaza above. Diamond Tower is a 21-floor condominium building located just outside of downtown Milwaukee.
WGI provided engineering services to prepare repair documents, assist in bidding the project to qualified contractors, and provide construction observation/administration services for the repair, waterproofing, and restoration of the parking and landscaped areas south and west Diamond Tower.
• Remove all pavement, curbs, soil, and waterproofing from the structural slab.
• Repair the concrete structural roof slab.
• Apply new waterproofing, protection board, and drainage system.
• Install new curbs, pavement, soil, and landscaping.
