The 863-space Forest Avenue Parking Structure was a joint venture between the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority and the University of Michigan. It operates for the benefit of the community and the university with parking spaces allocated for each use.

This attractive parking structure features unique architectural detailing with angled glass curtain walls at the stair/elevator towers and decorative canopies at vehicle entrances. For added safety and convenience, a small police station and parking office are located at the first-floor street level.

It features a sophisticated access control system that monitors and electronically nests city and university permit holders and visitors. A pedestrian bridge at the third level connects the parking structure to an adjacent office building.
