The LOVE Park garage is located at 1501 JFK Boulevard in Philadelphia. It was constructed in 1964 and is a 4-level below-grade parking structure with a footprint that extends beneath a public park and three (3) City streets. 

Conventionally reinforced cast-in-place concrete flat slabs with drop panels, concrete foundation walls, and columns garage. Heavily reinforced it was also designed to serve as a fallout shelter. 

Project Highlights 

• Full slab replacement of portions of the east end of the structure.
• Localized partial depth concrete repairs throughout the structure. 
• Construction of new elevators and stairs near the east end of the garage with a glass-enclosed lobby at the park level. ($3,8M) 
• Reconstruction of entrance ramps. 
• Application of silane water repellent on the parking decks. 
• Carbon fiber reinforcement of deficient concrete column. 
• Steel stair repairs.
