WGI performed evaluations of the Central and Van Buren parking structures to develop repair and maintenance recommendations. The Central parking structure is constructed of precast concrete and provides approximately 350 parking spaces. The Van Buren parking structure is also built of precast concrete and provides 530 parking spaces.
The recommendations were prioritized based on various criteria, including user safety, structural integrity, long-term durability, code requirements, and nuisance issues such as leaking. Once the repairs were prioritized, they were organized into a phased repair and maintenance program over the desired 20-year window to assist with future budgeting. The recommendations were submitted to the City of Naperville as part of our detailed evaluation reports developed for each structure
