The Parking Authority of River City (PARC) agreed to partner with a development to bring the 20 story Omni Hotel / Residential Building and adjacent 809 space parking structure to downtown Louisville. PARC, the owner of the parking garage and responsible for its long-term maintenance and operations, retained WGI to develop parking structure criteria documents and to represent its interests during design and construction by providing review, oversight and construction administration assistance. As the owner’s representative, WGI confirmed that the design considered function, operations and performance with respect to maintenance, future repairs and service life, ensuring that the parking structure was designed and constructed in conformance with the criteria documents, with a goal of long-term service with reduced maintenance and repair costs.
