This 1-mile milling and resurfacing of SR 569 (N 39th Street/N 40th Street) from SR 60 (E Adamo Drive) to S of E 15th Avenue in Hillsborough County included intersection and signalization improvements as well as drainage improvements, pavement markings, signage, pedestrian and bicycle safety and operational improvements, new sidewalk and new sidewalk curb ramps to meet current ADA standards.

SR 569 is a four-lane divided urban roadway. The scope includes restriping existing travel lanes to accommodate bicycle lanes, upgrades of curb ramps and existing sidewalk to meet ADA guidelines, construction of new sidewalk to fill in gaps for pedestrian usage, repairs to the existing storm sewer system, and installation of advance street name signs for signalized intersections. The project involves coordination with City of Tampa on replacement of existing signals at the E 7th Avenue intersection with new mast arms. WGI design services include roadway, drainage, temporary traffic control, utility coordination, survey, and SUE.
