Due to proposed improvements to Florida’s Turnpike at the Sunrise Interchange, FPL will be required to relocate a series of distribution and transmission lines crossing the interchange. WGI provided design survey information for this effort, including 3D laser scans of the utility line locations to determine precise horizontal and vertical clearances, cross-sections within the ramps and adjoining canals along the proposed route, and subsurface utility surveys to clear proposed pole locations.
