Will Rogers World Airport is located in southwestern Oklahoma City, six miles from downtown, and is the principal commercial airport of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. The airport retained WGI to conduct a comprehensive analysis of current and future parking and rental car needs. 

Project Highlights:

• Forecast parking demand based on growth and historical parking-system utilization 
• Develop a parking-expansion plan and forecast rental-car capacity and facility needs through a 20-year period 
• Assess parking options, service levels, and rates vs. off-airport competition and other airports in the region 
• Predict the impact of multiple rate-change scenarios on parking demand and revenues, and recommend a comparative rate structure 
• Analyze potential service offerings, including valet and premium parking programs 
• Evaluate rental-car facilities, including return and service areas, as well as vehicle storage 
• Develop conceptual options for the expansion of rental car facilities 
• Develop an affordability analysis related to funding requirements and prospective customer facility charges 
• Develop a plan for the revision of existing signage and the placement of additional signage in both inbound and outbound roadways
