Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum is located in the Lowry community in Denver. The former Air Force hangar houses over three dozen historic airplanes and space vehicles. The 1930s era hanger also accommodates special events with up to 3,000 guests.
WGI conducted a shared parking study of the museum. The parking study presented peak parking demand for various events, estimated the number of on-site spaces available for event parking, identified and prioritized potential off-site locations for event parking, estimated the number of spaces available during special events, and provided a preliminary determination of the feasibility of using Hanger 2 for temporary indoor parking.
