At this year’s banquet, WGI’s Transportation Engineering team received the Grand Award in the Transportation category, for our Turnpike Widening from Osceola Parkway to Beachline Expressway project.
“I’m extremely proud to receive this recognition from FDOT and my peers, for a project that I literally started working on my second day after joining WGI. It was extremely gratifying to get up on that stage and accept this award with the exact same team I began the project with over ten years ago. It’s a happiness that I just can’t put into words.” – David Gerber, Project Engineer
During the banquet, attendees had the pleasure of viewing a spotlight video for each of the winning projects, prior to the award presentations and acceptance speeches.
