A charter school desired to expand onto this 7-acre parcel. The parcel was previously agricultural farm fields and was subsequently a plant nursery. The property included a pole barn with a dirt floor. WGI conducted a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (Phase II ESA) to test for agrichemicals throughout the property. WGI found arsenic in the dirt floor of the pole barn. Under a very tight schedule, WGI delineated the horizontal and vertical extent of contamination and conducted onsite soil mixing, successfully meeting met target cleanup levels.
