WGI provided design and construction phase services for the City of Lake Worth for the Reverse Osmosis Plant at the Water Treatment Site. The building is a two story, 18,500-square foot Reverse Osmosis treatment facility with an 8900-square foot high bay area and a two story 9600-square foot office operations and lab space. The building was constructed with concrete cast-in-place columns and beams with 12-inch reinforced masonry walls. The high bay area features a 45-foot span, 50-ton bridge crane and a 6-foot deep pipe chase/trench with fiberglass grating. The facility also houses an emergency generator. The roof structure is prestressed concrete joists with a concrete topping slab.
