Event Recap: Geo Week 2023
Geo Week is the premier event for increased integration between the built environment, advanced airborne/terrestrial technologies, and commercial 3D technologies.
This annual event is a culmination of stand-alone events, such as AEC Next Technology Expo & Conference, International Lidar Mapping Forum, and SPAR 3D Expo & Conference, and powerful partnership events, including ASPRS Annual Conference.
Created by engineers, for engineers, GEO Week is a response to the changing needs of industry professionals due to the convergence of the newest technologies in the engineering realm.
New technological innovations, the need for remote workflows, and hardware breakthroughs are redefining expectations across teams, organizations, and entire industries. Geo Week is at the center of it all.
WGI was represented by a handful of our Geospatial professionals at this year’s Geo Week, including Lisa Nisenson, Sandor Laszlo, PE & Mark Toppings, all of whom gave presentations on advanced visualization/application of AR/VR/XR technologies & aerial/hybrid workflows.
In addition to an already exciting week of festivities, collaboration, and instruction, the 2022 MAPPS Membership Choice Awards were handed out at the conference and WGI took home some impressive hardware for our work on the White Sands National Park project!
