Tom Bernard, PE, MEP Market Leader Voted to the ASHRAE Florida West Coast Chapter as a Board member

Congratulations Tom Bernard, PE, MEP Market Leader for being voted on to the ASHRAE Florida West Coast Chapter as acting Government Advocacy Chair.

Tom will be the acting Government Advocacy Chair, a voting board position, and a direct track for the presidency in coming terms. The Government Advocacy Chair is the official voice of the chapter to present and advocate for items specific to the society.

Working alongside government agencies, the Florida Board of Professional Engineers, and state & local politicians, this critical role brings a voice to specific policies as it relates to the Florida Building Code and any proposed changes in legislation.

“I am excited to be elected to this role by my peers on the ASHRAE Board and look forward to working with our government leaders, our community, and other technical leaders to continue to make safe & positive change for those that we serve.
