Welcome to “YES Week” – A Week Celebrating Our Associates’ Years of Exceptional Service

YES Week is about celebrating all associates by honoring their efforts, passion and devotion towards WGI’s continued success.
WPB ladies swagged out for YES Week

Not to be confused with the popular new movie on Netflix titled YES Day, YES Week is WGI’s new annual celebration to recognize employees’ years of exceptional service. At the heart of it, YES Week is about celebrating all associates by honoring their efforts, passion, and devotion towards WGI’s continued success.

For this year’s inaugural event, a total of 23 associates were honored for having achieved landmark anniversaries since January 1, 2021 (5, 10, 15, 20 & 25 years). These employees were presented with custom awards, commemorating the anniversary year they have achieved.

The fun wasn’t only reserved for those hitting big milestones – the entire company took part in the festivities! Every day of YES Week came with its own unique itinerary, consisting of fun videos and activities, such as a scavenger hunt, and a surprise ice cream delivery. Mixed in with the recognition, surprises and activities, were some informative and quite entertaining “how-to” videos, submitted by a few of our senior leadership members.

Some of our senior leadership members also hosted open “office hours” on Zoom, giving employees a laid back, open forum to chat with and better get to know some of the firm’s leaders, that they otherwise may not have much contact with.

Employees were also showered with gifts every day during YES Week. These items included t-shirts, hats, bandanas, cookies, M&M’s, foam fingers, and socks, all custom-branded with the WGI logo.

Pictured above are just a few of the items WGI surprised employees with throughout YES Week.

Associates in all offices eagerly joined in on the fun, posting pictures with other team members proudly sporting their new WGI gear, and sharing why they love working for WGI.

“WGI is in a class by itself.  I have never worked anywhere before that has been so terrific to its employees on so many different levels.  I wish everyone had the opportunity to work for a company like this!” – Kathleen Turnbull

Even our four legged friends were able to get in on the YES Week fun!

The week culminated with a catered lunch where associates were able to relax and unwind with their co-workers following an exciting, action-packed week of festivities. These are the types of events that shape the culture at WGI and help elevate and strengthen our people, teams, and core values.

One of WGI’s core values is Passion for People and here at WGI, we take our core values seriously. We don’t just talk the talk; we walk the walk, because, without our people WGI wouldn’t be the firm it is today.
