The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is developing 16 Hunt Camps within the 72,239-acre Babcock Ranch Preserve in Charlotte County, Florida. Four of the 16 campsites have recently completed construction. WGI is currently involved with four new campsites. These are the Yearling Pasture, Cypress Head, and Deep Freeze North and South campsites. All four have been designed and permitted, and the Yearling Pasture Campsite is currently under construction. The remaining 8 campsites will follow over the next five years. Each camp site contains conventional and ADA-accessible RV sites; a septic sewer treatment system; a water well with a treatment, potable water storage, and pumping system; an elevated non-potable water storage tank; a Solar Photovoltaic power station; and a screened pavilion.
