WGI provided analysis and design services for two portions of the City’s sanitary sewer collection system. The primary scope was to analyze six lift stations and interconnecting force mains to reduce system inefficiencies, eliminate re-pumping, and improve the system’s overall performance. WGI prepared a Lift Station Hydraulics Report that utilized existing and design flow data, analyzed static head characteristics, calculated dynamic head, and analyzed results to prepare construction documents for the proposed improvements. The improvements included the installation of a new force main to redirect flows and upgraded pumps, impellers, power supply, and control panels. The secondary scope was to replace a 1,400 LF section of deteriorating force main along Military Trail and included a horizontal directional drill parallel to an open cut across Military Trail.
