WGI PROJECT
Lutheran Hospital South
Project Description
The South Parking Structure at Lutheran Hospital was the second of two new parking structures to be built on the Lutheran Hospital campus in a little over a year. The brick exterior of the South Parking Structure mimics that of the North Parking Structure, both of which complement the existing hospital.
The South Parking Structure is a 588-space facility that provides patient and visitor parking. It was built in conjunction with an expansion of the hospital structure, and the opening of the parking structure coincided with the opening of a new cancer treatment facility and medical office building. Fast-track construction helped the hospital meet its visitors’ immediate parking needs by replacing a surface parking lot on the south end of the campus with this facility.
