WGI performed an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey and limited topographic survey to assist with the construction of a new 731+/- acre solar energy site. WGI worked closely with the engineer of record to determine site boundaries, interior roads, and easements and coordinated with the environmental team to ensure minimal wetland impacts. The project required reviewing title commitments, exceptions, deeds, easements, original General Land Office (GLO) field notes, and tying original GLO section corners. WGI also coordinated directly with Bay County Public Works department for information on county road rights-of-way and planning to ensure minimal issues for future development.
• Navigating the project was challenging due to impacts of Hurricane Michael. However, WGI was awarded additional services due to the performance on this project.
