Restoration of the Market Street parking garage included repairs to various precast components, waterproofing components (including joint sealants and deck coatings, and repairs to other multiple components such as brick masonry and plumbing.
Several precast tee supports were identified during our initial evaluation that required immediate shoring due to their condition. Additionally, one support girder haunch had failed and required immediate stabilization. Once the structure was stabilized, a budget was developed for repair and waterproofing protection of the structure. The repairs were implemented in a phased approach to maintain the operation of the facility during construction.
