Columbus Convention Center Feasibility Study

The Columbus Convention Center is a 1.8 million square foot multi-purpose convention, conference, and unique event venue situated in downtown Columbus. The facility has recently completed an expansion to the north and constructed a new 800-space parking structure known as the Goodale Garage that was opened in February 2016. Other recent developments include the Hilton hotel to the west of the convention center. The hotel project included an expansion of the Vine Street Garage to 1,800 total spaces. Both the Hilton Hotel and Vine Street Garage are owned by the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority (FCCFA). 

WGI conducted a feasibility study to analyze the convention center’s activity levels, site conditions, local market factors, and anticipated parking demand pressures to confirm the financial feasibility of constructing a 650-space parking structure at the site selected by the FCCFA.
