Essentia Health is an integrated healthcare system with facilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Idaho. As of 2014, it has over 12,000 employees, including 1,500 physicians and credentialed practitioners. Due to overwhelming growth, the client wanted to add additional parking by replacing its previous parking structure.
WGI performed a full structural design apart from the foundations. We provided an efficient parking functional design and specified the best parking and revenue-control solutions. Additional consideration was taken to maintain a 75-year service life despite harsh winters.
