WGI was retained by the Everglades National Park contractor to perform topographic surveys of the continuing restoration for the Hole in the Donut project within the Everglades National Park. This project required a variety of different approaches due to the constantly changing site conditions from year to year.
To date, approximately 1,500,000 topographic shots have been taken, processed and delivered utilizing a combination of GPS, Robotic Total Stations with wheeled prism pole systems and leveling techniques.
WGI was also given the task to resolve various surveying discrepancies as a result of conflicting information from previous surveys performed on this land.
