Great-West Life Center Parking Structure

Client:
Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Co.
Market:
Parking
Location:
Greenwood Village, Colorado

Project Details

Located in southeast Denver’s booming Technological Center, this 1,265-space structure provides parking for employees of the Great-West Life Center campus, which includes three office towers, a data center and two additional towers planned for the future. Glass-backed stair and elevator cores accentuate the corners of the structure, and horizontal spandrel panels clearly identify it as a parking deck.

The simple, exposed-aggregate architectural finish and regular horizontal and vertical reveals on the light-colored exterior panels complement the adjoining office buildings and other structures in the immediate area.

Project Highlights

• Three-bay structure with two bays of flat parking and one bay of ramped parking
• Two-way traffic flow
• Signage designed to segregate vehicles from pedestrians
• Precast concrete superstructure
• Double-tee decks topped with poured-in-place, corrosion-resistant slabs
