Project Description

The Hyatt House is located in downtown Austin at Neches and 9th Street in the heart of the Red River Cultural District. The 10-story, 132,411 square-foot hotel was designed by LK Architecture and has 190 rooms and 139 parking spaces.

The property was developed by JCI Hospitality and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and 960 square-feet of meeting and event space.

As part of the integrated project delivery (IPD) team, WGI was responsible for MEP engineering, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and construction documents. The project was designed to meet the Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB) Program.
