Because Kootenai Medical Center did not have sufficient land area to provide expanded surface parking, WGI was retained to design a four-level, 392-space parking structure and 54-space surface lot on the south side of the hospital campus. The 130,000 square-foot structure was constructed of precast concrete. The parking structure was later expanded to seven levels and 680 parking spaces.

• The two-bay parking structure is located near outpatient check-in and provides convenient parking after patient drop-off
• Its location on the south side of campus does not block the view from patient rooms
