The Louisiana Healthcare (LHC) home office expansion project included the expansion of LHC Group’s home office located at 901 Hugh Wallis Road South in Lafayette, Louisiana. The expansion included offices as well as food service and a pharmacy. The addition was designed in three phases. Two phases included three-story offices/pharmacy/food service, and the third phase was a three-story conference and amenity area serving the expansion. A pedestrian bridge also connects two of the new three-story phases.
As the structural engineer for the project, WGI was responsible for the design of the concrete tilt wall, structural steel, pedestrian bridge, and associated foundations.
