WGI’s Landscape Architecture Division was hired by Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo to redesign Buccaneer Island – Ocean Reef’s unique private resort amenity area. The seven-acre island currently contains two pools, a tidal lagoon, a restaurant, kid’s playground, and beach activities. WGI’s redesign of the island maximizes the amenities and creates a world class resort area for this luxury community. Two masterplans were developed for the island, complete with new dining venues, pools, kid’s interactive water features, event venues, bandstand, private bar area, and boardwalk.
