Sky Club Condominiums Restoration of Façade

Client:
The Sky Club Condominium Association
Market:
Development
Location:
Hoboken, New Jersey

Project Details

The Sky Club Condominiums consist of two 17-story high-rise buildings separated by a courtyard and a connecting lobby. Tower A is approximately 233 feet long and 65 feet wide. Tower B is approximately 163 feet long and 65 feet wide. The towers are constructed of flat-plate concrete slabs and columns, with the slabs cantilevering out past the building walls to form balconies. The walls consist of a brick veneer/steel stud wall system, with cast stone veneer on the first floor and some areas of the second and third floors. Balcony railings are painted steel.

WGI completed a condition survey of the two high-rise residential buildings. The investigation included a review of the exterior walls, which consisted of a brick veneer/ steel stud wall system, with a cast stone veneer on the first floor. This review produced a report complete with findings, conclusions, and restoration recommendations.
