Leander, TX
Architect:

Project Size:

Project Description

St. David’s Healthcare is building a new freestanding emergency department to serve Leander, a fast-growing community outside of Austin, Texas. St. David’s Emergency Center Leander is the first phase of the 52-acre campus that it is building in the rapidly growing Leander Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area near the Capital Metro MetroRail station.

The 11,370 SF building will feature 12 patient beds, a CT scanner, radiological testing, and a medical lab. It will be staffed 24 hours a day by board certified physicians and nurses trained in trauma care.

The project also included a turn lane extension for CTRMA’s 183-A toll road. WGI provided civil engineering services for the project, which opened in 2018.
