UMC El Paso Visitor Garage Signage/Wayfinding

Client:
UMC El Paso
Market:
Education, Higher Education, Parking
Location:
El Paso, Texas

Project Details

Due to newly installed parking technology, the signage and wayfinding within the Visitor Parking Garage required significant updating. WGI conducted an assessment of existing signage and worked with the hospital to design an updated signage and wayfinding plan. The goals of the updated plan were to efficiently communicate newly installed technology transitioning their operation to paid parking, provide consistency in signage and messaging within the garage and hospital, and create standards for future parking facilities and for future signage and wayfinding. WGI led design efforts to create an updated signage/wayfinding plan. The final design package includes consistent and adequate signage and wayfinding within the garage. WGI also worked directly with the UMC’s Communication Director to create messaging to enhance the marketing plan for the new paid parking program. The goals of this effort were to educate employees and visitors of the hospital by providing consistent and clear communications.
