Located on the University of Denver (DU) campus, this 584-space structure provides five levels of parking for faculty, staff and residents of Nagel Hall, DU’s newest residence hall, as well as event parking for a variety of venues, including the adjacent School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.
Short-term, multi-space metered parking is available on the first level for visitors to the parking offices and campus police operations, which are integrated into the southwest corner of the structure. Access to the upper floors is restricted to key card holders.
This was a fast-track project with a schedule that allowed for approximately three and a half months of design and six months of construction.
• Three-bay, single-thread structure with a two-way ramp in the middle and oneway circulation around the perimeter
• Three stair towers and two elevator towers
• Precast/prestressed concrete framing system with field-topped double tees
• Brick and copper clad façade with architectural precast accents
