The 2021 FES | ACEC-FL Annual Conference, which was themed “Reconnecting Communities & People: Engineering Behind the Everyday & Extraordinary“, was held at The Breakers Palm Beach on August 4-7, 2021.
WGI had multiple professionals in attendance at the conference where they shared their expertise and offered up their wisdom as they delivered multiple presentations and proudly represented WGI as recipients of The Engineering Excellence Honor Award for WGI’s role in the Pompano Beach Pier project.
Adam Schildmeier, WGI’s Director of Private Land Development Engineering, was also honored for serving as President of FES during his 2020-2021 tenure.
Lisa Nisenson also gave a thrilling and informative presentation on “Incorporating Trends into Plans and Projects.” She discussed next-generation planning techniques to help professionals explore and incorporate uncertainty and risk into projects and plans, including scenario planning, technology foresight, and pilots.
