WGI PROJECT

Lake Worth Pier

Client:
City of Lake Worth
Location:
Lake Worth, FL

Project Description

WGI was responsible for revitalization of this 1,000-foot long ocean pier after storm damage from Hurricanes Jeanne and Frances. The pier was raised five feet for additional storm protection, while still maintaining ADA accessibility. The pier was designed and constructed utilizing top-down construction techniques.

WGI also provided construction phase services for the project, including review of shop drawings, site visits to observe concrete placement and pile driving, progress meetings, and final inspections and reports.
