WGI provided structural design services for the Town of Palm Beach Sand Transfer Plant. Refurbishment of the existing sand transfer plant with a new metalized steel crane, mechanical pumps, and motors capable of pumping sand build-up from the north side of the inlet to the south side of the inlet. The plant, which sits on the north inlet jetty just off Singer Island, gathers sand from north of the inlet and pumps it through a pipe to North End beaches, re-creating the natural flow of sand.
