WGI was selected to provide professional structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for the $1.7 million renovation of The Tampa Club located at the 42nd level of the Bank of America Building in the downtown Tampa district. The project included:
The Tampa Club opened its doors in 1982 and has provided a private business and social club that benefits its members with fine dining and personalized service. The Tampa Club membership consists of senior-level executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, and military, civic, and community leaders.
The approximate 8,000 square foot renovation provided various areas of the existing club with many more viewing options of Tampa’s skyline and highlights Tampa’s recognition as the top tree city in the world. Expansion of the dining area and new enlarged wrap-around bar area provides ample seating for the members. Two new meeting spaces and a new co-working space offer additional support for the members to collaborate. The new outdoor terrace provides a unique experience for dining or gatherings with a southern view of Downtown Tampa, including the Harbor and Davis Islands and even the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
